OOU Orientation Programme for fresh Students New date 2017/18

This is to inform all newly admitted students for the 2017/2018 Academic Session that the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ganiyu Olatunji Olatunde has approved new date for 2017/2018 Orientation programme.
The Orientation programme that will fresh students adapt to life at the University will start from Monday, 8th January to Tuesday, 9th January, 2018 at the Lecture Theatre II, Main Campus, Olabisi Onabanjo, University.

OOU Matriculation Ceremony New date 2017/18

The Vice-Chancellor of theOlabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Professor Ganiyu Olatunji Olatunde has approved new date for  the 2017/2018 academic session Matriculation ceremony for fresh students.
The Matriculation Ceremony for the newly admitted students into Olabisi Onabanjo University for the 2017/2018 Academic Session will hold on  Wednesday, 10th January, 2018 at Lecture Theatre II, Main Campus.
The Ceremony would be presided over by the Vice-Chancellor in the presence of other Principal Officers. Provosts and Deans are expected to present their students for the mandatory matriculation oath taking while all matriculants are expected to be seated by 10.00am.

OOU Schoolfees payment deadline 2017/18

This is to inform all the newly admitted students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), that the management has announced the deadline for the payment of the 2017/2018 academic session school fees.
The deadline for the payment of school fees for All fresh students is Friday, 16th February, 2018.
Students that do not pay their school fees by this date should be prepared to forfeit their admission.
All fresh students are therefore, enjoined to take this notice seriously as the University will not extend the deadline.

OOU 27th Convocation Ceremony Programme of events

The Vice-Chancellor, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Professor Ganiyu Olatunji Olatunde, on behalf of Senate, Staff and Students invites the general public to the 27th Convocation Ceremonies for the award of Higher Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, First Degree, Diploma and Certificates. The Ceremonies have been scheduled for Tuesday, 23rd to Wednesday 31st January, 2018 at the Main Campus of the University, Ago-Iwoye.

OOU 27th Convocation Scrolls, Brochures, Academic Gowns details

The Graduands (Bachelors, PGD, Masters) are to pay a sum of thirty-six thousand Naira (N36,000.00) for Academic Gowns, Convocation Brochures, and Scrolls through POS in any of the Bursary Departments of the University Campuses (Ibogun, Ayetoro, Sagamu and Ago-Iwoye) while the University will refund six thousand Naira(N6,000.00) on return of Academic Gowns.

Ph. D Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of sixty-five thousand (N65,000.00) for the purchase of academic gowns, scrolls and convocation brochures.
College Secretaries/Faculty Officers are expected to commence issuance of Academic Gowns to graduands from Wednesday, 17th January, 2018 in their respective Colleges/Faculties while graduands from Agricultural Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Engineering and Environmental Studies, Health Sciences and Pharmacy will collect theirs at the Directorate of Students Affairs.
The University warns that all Academic Gowns collected by graduants must be returned in good condition latest by Thursday 8th February, 2018 to enable them merit the refundable deposit of six thousand naira (N6,000.00) to be credited to their various Bank Accounts.
Any graduand who fails to return the convocation gown within the stipulated deadline will be liable to pay a penalty fee of six thousand naira (N6,000.00) only per week.
All graduands and guests are expected to be seated by 9.00a.m. on the convocation days.
