UNILAG Continuing Education Part-time degree Supplementary Admission form 2017/18

This is to inform the public that the has announced supplementary admison into its part-time degree programme of the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) University of Lagos (UNILAG) for 2017/2018 Academic Session has been announced.
The ICE Part-time degree programme is for all courses in the department of Arts and Mass Communuication
Method of Application
Application forms are obtainable online via the University of Lagos website, https://unilag.edu.ng/, using ATM/Cash/Dedicated Teller obtainable on payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15, 000.00) only paid into any Bank within the campus using the Treasury Single Account (TSA) via Remita Platform.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS AND ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS
Completed application form should be submitted online and a hard copy with colour print should be submitted to the Faculty of Arts Programme Office Room 634 and the Department of Mass Communication Programme Office respectively.
Entrance Examination
The Entrance Examination will hold on January 27th, 2018.
Examinations for these programmes which will be in English Language and General Knowledge.
NB: (1) Candidates are expected to come to the examination hall by 9:00am with the colour print of their Application Form

UNILAG Screening For 2017/18 Newly admitted Students Postponed


This is to inform fresh students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG)  and the general public that the screening exercise of UTME candidates admitted on merit (which commenced on Monday, 4th December, 2017) has been suspended following the disruption of normal academic and administrative activities by the on-going industrial action by the Non Academic staff Union of Universities.
The screening exercise earlier scheduled for Monday, 4th to Friday, 15th December, 2017, has been postponed till further notice. New dates would be communicated soon to all concerned.
All candidates are enjoined to check the University website regularly for continued updates.

UNILAG Screening procedure and registration schedule for 2017/18 newly admitted Students


The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has released the registration schedule and screening procedure for the 2017/2018 academic session newly admitted UTME candidates.
All newly admitted UTME undergraduate candidates are requested to report at the Multipurpose Hall A, University of Lagos from Monday 4th December, 2017 to Friday 15th December, 2017, for registration as from 8.30am.
Candidates are advised to follow the underlisted registration procedure strictly.

STAGE 1: UPLOADING OF DOCUMENTS
Login to the Unilag Students Portal (www.unilag.edu.ng­­­ — students — student login) and fill the biodata form, print the Screening Form (students are expected to upload the underlisted documents while filling the Biodata form)
  • Birth certificate
  • Letter of reference
  • Testimonial from secondary schools attended
  • Certificate of state of origin
  • JAMB Admission letter
  • Previous Degree Certificate (DE students
STAGE 2: SCREENING
  • Proceed to the Registration Centre as scheduled
  • Submit four copies of the underlisted documents to the Registration Officer:
  1. Screening Form generated from Stage 1
  2. UTME Result Slip
  3. Unilag Post-UTME Result Slip
  4. O’ Level Result Certificate (WAEC / NECO) Or Statement of Result with an online version of the Result
  5. Letter of Reference from a Reputable Clergyman/Imam/Lawyer/Senior Civil Servant
  6. Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age
  7. Testimonial from Secondary Schools attended
  8. Certificate of State of Origin
  9. Jamb Admission Letter
  10. Passport Photographs (12 Copies)
STAGE 3: PAYMENT OF FEES
  1. Generate pay advice
  2. Proceed to any bank to make payment
STAGE 4: FACULTY AND DEPARTMENTAL REGISTRATION
Proceed to the Faculty/ Department for registration.
STAGE 5: FINAL ENROLLMENT
Return to the Registration Officer for Final enrolment with the underlisted items:
  • JAMB Admission Letter (If not previously submitted during screening)
  • Completed and duly signed Students Biodata
  • Completed and duly signed Students Information Form (SIF)
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
  • Impersonation is a serious offence and anybody found guilty of this will automatically forfeit his/her admission and may be handed over to Security Operatives.
  • Drug Use. The University has zero tolerance for drug use; hence a compulsory test shall be conducted for all newly admitted students before or after registration.
The admission of newly admitted students that test positive to drug use shall be withdrawn.
